Beliefs

A collection of my life philosophies as a means of understanding me better. Thanks for reading!

Love

Love is the name we give to the oneness of all things. It is felt when a being reaches some degree of enlightenment through human connection, religion, meditation, hallucinagenics, etc. The experience of love is indescribable; though we can easily explain why we like someone, what we love about them is open to change and evolution. In a word, it is unconditional. It exists beyond 3D perception. Love is also inifinite. Like time, it expands in all directions.

Ego

The ego is selfhood. The ego is what forms our attachments to people, places, and things, and allows suffering to seep into our relationships with them and with ourselves. When ego is present, every action in life is poisoned by the endless crawl towards an illusion of purpose. In actuality, the job description of all living things is to be born, live, and die. If we can do this, then we are inherently "enough," and deserving of existence. This awakening is what gives life its meaning. When we understand that we have already fulfilled our destiny, our goals in life are no longer pursued out of shame, fear, and obligation, but out of security and love. The path forward unfolds for us naturally.

Humanity

Ego is what seperates humans from animals. Our ability to percieve ourselves leads directly to all forms of injustice in life. Racism, sexism, capitalism, all of these oppressive forces exist and thrive because humanity cannot comprehend it's infinite place in the universe. Now you might say, animals cannot comprehend anything at all, let alone their place, but that's the whole point. Animals live in a constant state of meditation in the fact that they are without the aforementioned ego. There is a reason people claim to love animals more than humans; it's because animals are innocent and unconditional and we crave that energy.

Spiritual Awakenings

A spiritual awakening is the moment we feel our interconnectedness to all living beings on this Earth. It is when we recognize that our perception of the world in a sense, does not exist, and we are all atoms buzzing around, taking abstract shape and breaking apart again and again.

Faith and Religion

Faith is believing what you feel instead of what you think. Faith requires you to be illogical. Religions are different names for the same thing, and all serve to meet the same ends: to tap into the unconditionally loving nature of the universe. Some call this nature God.

An "Unconditionally Loving" Universe

The "love" felt from the universe can better be described as the bliss of pure existence. As I mentioned before, our ego is what burdens us with suffering, attachment, and feelings of inadequacy. When we abandon it, we once again become everything we were ever meant to be. Or better said, we stop trying to be anything more than what we are meant to be. This is interpreted as ultimate acceptance from the universe, and it is given the name "love."

"Soulmates" and "Twin Flames"

A soulmate, by my definition, is a person who exposes you to the unconditional love of the universe through your bond with them, though you may not be aware of this. A soulmate can be a pet, a partner, a parent, anyone who you feel true peace and understanding with (the nature of the universe). A twin flame is a wakeup call. They reveal to you the divine nature of all things and are very often a catalyst for a spiritual awakening. The love you feel for them unlocks a love for all people and all things that have lived, live, and will live. It is universal love.

Death

Death is a being of pure benevolence. It is merciful and fair and takes souls when the body can no longer sustain life. It is the only ever the only option. The machinations that bring about death are what can be considered unfair. Murder is unfair, cancer is unfair, but death is the end of pain, and there is nothing gentler than that. Death is the ultimate dissolution of ego. It is the great, final reunification with the rest of the world as conciousness ends and existence transcends form. It shepards softly into oblivion.

The Afterlife

A being stays tethered to this earth for as long as they are remembered. Their energy maintains it's shape until it is forgotten, and in infinite bliss, dissipates and becomes one with everything again.

Misc.

Objects of Protection: If you believe an evil eye will protect you, then you will feel more protected. If you believe a certain gemstone will bring you peace, clarity, groundedness, then it will. It's not dissimilar to a placebo effect, where believing something is enough to reap its benefits. This makes things very convenient, as you can achieve the same ends with a lost button as you can with an expensive bracelet.
